Communications Intern

Sheffield · On-site

Intern

Sheffield | Full-time | 3-Month Fixed-Term Internship

The Opportunity

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in communications, stakeholder engagement and public affairs while working on projects that make a real difference?

We're looking for an enthusiastic Intern to join our team for a three-month placement. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience across a wide range of communications, research and stakeholder engagement activities, working alongside experienced consultants and contributing to live client projects from day one.

This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, gain valuable consultancy experience and contribute to projects that help shape communities across the UK.

Every day is different at Counter Context. One day you could be researching political or policy developments affecting a client project, the next you could be helping prepare a community consultation, supporting a stakeholder event or analysing consultation feedback. You'll be encouraged to get involved, ask questions, share ideas and make a genuine contribution throughout your placement.

Our work sits at the intersection of politics, economics, society and technology. Every project involves people with different interests, different perspectives and different priorities. That's where we come in.

Maintaining stakeholder databases and project records.

Supporting project administration across multiple client accounts.

Assisting with community enquiries and project correspondence.

Keeping communication logs and contact information up to date.

Analysing consultation responses and engagement feedback.

Assisting with the preparation of client reports and presentations.
