Our Story

WorkSmarter was founded in 2018 by a group of colleagues with extensive experience working with growing businesses and their teams.

Through our work, we repeatedly saw the same challenges. Small and medium-sized businesses were expected to manage people, compliance, performance and growth with tools that were often outdated, fragmented or designed for much larger organisations.

We believed there should be a better way.

Our goal was simple: to build a modern HR platform designed specifically for SMEs – one that makes it easier to manage employee records, absence, performance, compliance and communication, all in one place.

Since then, WorkSmarter has grown significantly and is now supported by an exceptional team dedicated to helping businesses manage their people more effectively. While the platform and team have expanded, our original mission remains the same: to provide practical, powerful HR tools that help organisations stay organised, compliant and focused on their people.
