Batch Updates

Update multiple users' accounts at once.

WorkSmarter offers a batch update feature to make it easy to manage multiple user accounts. This feature allows you to update settings, features, and permissions across several user accounts quickly and efficiently.

Whether you need to adjust holiday allowances, update working hours, or modify permissions, Batch Updates can save you valuable time.

How to use Batch Updates

  • Log in to your WorkSmarter account.

  • Navigate to the organisation tab.

  • Click on the 'Batch Updates'.

Selecting Users

  • In the Batch Updates screen, you’ll see a list of all Employees.

  • Use the checkboxes next to each Employee's name to select the users you want to update.

  • If you want to select all users, click the 'Select All' checkbox at the top of the list.

Once you’ve selected the users, choose the type of update you want to perform from the dropdown menu.

Applying Updates

After selecting the update type, you can double-check the updates you want to make. If you are comfortable with the changes, you can submit the batch updates.

Important Considerations

Permissions: Only Account Owners and Managers with the appropriate permissions can perform Batch Updates. Ensure you have the necessary authorisation before proceeding.

Data Accuracy: Always double-check the information before applying updates to avoid any errors or by giving the wrong permissions to multiple users.
