Removing and restricting access for leavers.
Removing an employee from your WorkSmarter account requires the correct permissions – Account Owners have this feature turned on. Managers can be granted access to this feature within the permission settings.
Follow these steps to terminate an employee's account and manage their departure details effectively.
Access the Employees You Manage Via the View Employee Page or Quick Search
Locate the employee you need to remove from the list.
Use the ‘Edit’ button next to their name.
Scroll down and select the archive and delete options.
Enter the termination date, which will be the employee’s final working day in your organisation. You can choose to allow access until the last day of employment or restrict access to your WorkSmarter account immediately.
At this stage, you can completely delete a user's profile. If you choose this option, the Employee's account can’t be restored, so we always advise double-checking everything before fully deleting a user and not archiving for at least a short period of time.
You can also choose to achieve data for a desired period of time, meaning all records will be safely stored on WorkSmarter for future reference.
As long as a user has data stored on your WorkSmarter account, they will remain chargeable.
