Amend or Cancel an Existing Holiday Booking

WorkSmarter’s flexible Holiday Planner makes it easy to amend or cancel an existing holiday booking.

 

Once a request has been approved, the booking will show green (approved) in the Holiday Calendar. If the employee amends the request, the manager will be notified straight away and the calendar will revert to pending (orange.) If cancelled, the holiday will revert to grey on the calendar but will still need manager review.

 

The employee can amend their request directly from their dashboard via the Edit button, or choose to cancel/amend by navigating to the calendar and clicking on the event. Click Edit Event to amend or click Cancel to delete.

 

Managers can review or cancel directly from their notifications; review from the dashboard in the Holiday Summary; or review/cancel by going to Services→ Holiday Planner → Review Requests and approve/decline or cancel/keep from there.

 

The employee will be instantly notified of the decision, the Holiday Calendar updated and the holiday entitlement recalculated where appropriate.
