Staff check themselves in or out with a single tap: online, on-the-go using the WorkSmarter mobile app, or by scanning a QR code. Tap the Break button to pause a shift and we’ll indicate this to colleagues.

What is Front Desk Check-In?
Front Desk Check-In is a fast, effortless and secure way for employees to clock in and out at a designated location.
Staff scan their unique WorkSmarter passcode on a mobile device at a chosen location, such as the front desk or a check-in kiosk, for automatic check-in and instant timesheet recording. On exit, staff scan to check out and the timesheet entry is closed and updated. Working time is precisely recorded, ready to reconcile for accurate payroll.
QR codes are available in hard copy or as an e-pass. Use with the WorkSmarter app and store securely in a mobile wallet for instant access. Alternatively, simply use the print version without needing to be online.
How do I Generate a QR Code?
Check in faster with a QR code. Save and print QR codes for your employees to scan when they check in or out of their workplace. Select a branded code for easy team recognition or keep it simple with standard style.
· On the Dashboard, select Services.
· Go to Timesheets → Save/Print QR Codes
· Choose QR Code Type: by company, office, department.
· Generate a personal QR code for Front Desk check-ins.
· Generate a QR code for a time-tracking project so team members can scan to check in or out. Click to download.
· The QR code will be valid indefinitely, but you can generate a new one whenever needed.
How Do I Get the WorkSmarter App?
Use QR codes with our app. To get started, download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Sign in with your account and you’re ready to go.
Can Managers Check Their Team in/out Manually?
