How to Record a Training Session

Organise and Securely Document all the Training you Provide to Your Staff.

1. Once logged in, navigate to Services.

2. Go to Training, then Train Staff to open the training record interface. 

3. You can now create a new Training Record.

  • Select the employee for whom you are recording the training, specific users, departments, or all.

  • Next, you can complete the training record card.

  • Enter a clear and concise title or summary for the session then select or key in the topics covered.

  • Select the training date and the next scheduled training due date if it is to be repeated. Reminders will be issued when further training on a topic is due.

  • In the text box provided, write the main content of the training and include all relevant details and information. Use the text editor to customise the look and feel of this session.

  • Upload any supporting documents by clicking + to attach files, then select the file/s you need from your computer.

  • Click the ‘Save Training' button. Once the training has been successfully saved, you can download a PDF or edit the training session at any time, including the ability to schedule a repeat training session if required. The employee will be automatically notified to let them know there’s a new training record.

Can I Schedule Training Sessions for Future Dates?

You can record training sessions scheduled for future dates by setting the training date in the training creation form.

What Types of Files can I Attach to a Training Record?

You can attach various file types such as PDFs, staff certification, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and images.
