HR Files link to Digital Signing – use this feature in conjunction with your HR documents. Fully compliant with UK legislation, request secure e-signatures individually or in batches from any member of your team, directly integrated with each user's HR Files.

Request a Signature:

1. Go to the HR Files screen. Once your document has been uploaded, select it.

2. Go to the 3 vertical dots menu on the screen, then click Request Signature, choose Signees, enter an optional message, then click Send.

3. We'll send them a notification and instructions.

4. The Signing column on the HR Files screen indicates current signature status.

5. Once all parties have signed, we'll send everyone a copy and save the final signed PDF for you.

What Kind of Documents can be Signed?

You can sign word documents, pdfs and even PowerPoints. We take care of file formats, storage, or conversions for you.

How can I Track who has Signed a Document?

Select the file and click the Information button to see document details. You can also run a report from the reports section of the site to track the progress of document signing.

Are Signatures Legal?

WorkSmarter’s e-signatures hold the same legal validity as traditional ink-on-paper.

Signed documents are protected from edits and alterations and are fully traceable with a comprehensive audit trail.
