What to do When you First log in.
Welcome on board! You’ll get to know your way around the site quickly, but here’s everything you need to know to get started.
Logging In for the First Time
When your employer registered your account with WorkSmarter, you received a welcome email confirming your account creation and login details.
We'll continue to send reminders until you complete the onboarding process. When you’re ready, click the button in the email to log in and get started.
Your account is already set up, so all you need to do is verify your details and fill in any missing fields.
You can choose a new, memorable password and upload a profile picture to personalise your account.
Rest assured, only the Account Owner and authorised Managers can see your personal information.
Once you’re happy with everything, click save. You'll be taken directly to your new WorkSmarter account, where all the information you need is clearly laid out and easy to access.
What if I Forget my WorkSmarter Password?
No problem! Simply go to the login page and click ‘Forgot Password’. Enter your registered email address to receive a reset link. Follow the instructions to set a new password and log in with your updated credentials.
You can also change your password at any time: access your Profile via your profile picture or the profile icon at the top left of the sidebar, click on Edit Profile then go to Account Settings then select ‘Change Password’. Enter and confirm your new password, then save the changes. Your new password is immediately active.
Holidays
The Holiday Planner is accessed from the Services tab in the sidebar. From here, click on Calendars to view the Holiday Calendar, which shows all the holidays booked by everyone in your Department. The Holiday Calendar helps you plan your leave by showing when others are on holiday.
Use ‘Request a Holiday’ to make holiday requests, which are sent directly to your Manager for approval.
Easy Navigation
Click on Edit Profile (accessed via your profile picture or the profile icon) to bring up the ‘Your WorkSmarter Account’ menu. From here you can access your Employee Record and Account Settings. To view our Help Centre articles, click the ‘Help’ icon at the bottom of the sidebar .
Employee Record
Open up the ‘Your WorkSmarter Account’ menu and select ‘Employee Record’ to view your work profile details. This section provides a summary of your holiday details, absence records and, if your company subscribes to the Complete Plan, any relevant announcements and training sessions.
You can also edit and update your contact and employment details by clicking the blue ‘Edit Profile’ button and selecting the relevant box.
Account Settings
Account Settings is where you can update your profile picture or change your password.
Services
If your firm subscribes to the Complete plan, you can click on the Services tab to access other features and services, such as Announcements, Training Records and Expenses.
