Your Dashboard
Accessed from the sidebar, your dashboard is designed to give you an overview of your team, showing you who is on holiday, absent, or away in the next seven days.
You can also review all outstanding holiday requests companywide and see who is currently checked in, on break, or currently checked out if you're using our Timesheets feature.
Your Company Default Settings
Company Settings, accessed within the Organisation tab on your sidebar, is the place for the account owner, or a manager with the correct permission, to add the main details about your organisation.
Configure your default holiday and absence settings, with the option to override them for specific employees if needed. You also have the option to customise the available reasons for both planned and unplanned absences.
You can also:
Set up custom days off across your company.
Set your default work schedules.
Create an editable template for Return To Work interviews.
Update your notifications and alerts.
Set custom notification channels like MS Teams, Slack, Basecamp and more.
Multiple Account Owners
You can add multiple account owners or remove account owners from within the company settings under the section "Account Owners."
To add a new account owner, they must already be added to your WorkSmarter account.
Your WorkSmarter Profile
To access your WorkSmarter profile as the account owner, go to the sidebar and click on your profile photo or the profile icon. Select 'Edit Profile' to access your employee record and make any changes to your personal information from here.
