A quick recap for businesses/employers today. From July 19th:

- all remaining closed businesses can open
- all capacity limits are lifted and all social distancing rules (including the 2m rule) are no longer a requirement in law
- all businesses should follow the principles set out in the revised 'Working Safely' guidance and apply mitigations where necessary
- government is no longer instructing people to work from home if they can and expect and recommend a gradual return over the summer
- businesses in high risk settings may choose, if they wish, to use the NHS Covid Pass as a condition of entry. Essential services/retailers are not allowed to use this condition of entry to ensure access for all.
- businesses are encouraged to continue displaying QR codes/collecting customer data to support NHS Test and Trace but this is not a legal requirement
- government expects and recommends that people wear face covering in crowded areas but this is not a legal requirement
